The Mountain West announced its 2026 football schedule locations Thursday, calling it the dawn of a new era and “an exciting new chapter for the league.”

Nevada will host Air Force, Hawaii, New Mexico and San Jose State next season while playing road games at UNLV, UTEP, Wyoming and Northern Illinois. Dates for the game have not been revealed. Nevada will host San Jose State for the second straight season and travel to Wyoming in back-to-back years. The other MW teams Nevada faced this season (New Mexico, UNLV) include reversed locations from the 2025 season.

The Wolf Pack had previously announced its non-conference schedule, which includes home games against Western Kentucky (Sept. 5) and Montana State (Sept. 12) and road games with UCLA (Sept. 19) and Middle Tennessee State (Sept. 26).

The MW will lose five schools to the Pac-12 next season, including Boise State, San Diego State, Colorado State, Utah State and Fresno State. It is added two football programs in UTEP, which is now a full member, and football-only affiliate Northern Illinois.

Nevada is coming off a 3-9 season and 2-6 mark in the MW, its fourth straight year with three wins or fewer. The Wolf Pack will enter its third season under head coach Jeff Choate in 2026.
