FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — An animal at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo was treated to a big birthday celebration.
The zoo’s Orangutan named N’Dari turned 15 years old.
Her care team made sure to give her a special surprise earlier today. It included a birthday party with her entire family and tasty treats throughout her habitat.
“We did what we like to call a quincenera celebration, and we made a birthday cake, jello treats, pudding treats, just really fun items to make her birthday special,” said Chaffee Zoo Zoological Care Specialist Clarissa.
N’dari was seen enjoying her birthday food.
The zoo says she is an older sister, and although she may be shy – she likes to hang upside and wear blankets on her head.
She has a younger brother that’s 7-year-old, her dad is 41.
