Food is especially seasonal right now, with desserts taking the centerstage, alongside festive offerings like latkes, deviled eggs, and other celebratory savory fare.
But many Southern Californians are already looking to the later part of January when another sup-focused stretch will commence in high culinary fashion: Winter Dine LA.
This is not to take any of the attention from the yuletide treats ruling our worlds; rather, the mega Restaurant Week serves as a beacon in the new year, especially for people seeking to support a neighborhood restaurant or try an eatery that is a bit out of the way.
There are 70 neighborhoods on the upcoming line-up, with Temple City, El Segundo, and Malibu representing. And if you’d like to visit all three areas, and a few more beyond, you’ll have a good amount of time: Winter Dine LA will sparkle from Jan. 23 through Feb. 6, 2026.
“It’s an honor to champion the restaurants and hospitality teams who shape one of the most diverse culinary landscapes in the world,” said Stacey Sun, Executive Director of Dine LA.
“Dine LA gives locals and visitors alike a chance to discover new flavors, support local businesses, and experience the extraordinary cuisine offerings that make Los Angeles such a world-class dining capital.”
As is tasty tradition with the twice-a-year Restaurant Weeks, new participants join the flavorful fold with each new outing.
The new supper club Somerville, located on the Slauson Corridor in South Los Angeles, will play a role in the upcoming event, as will Gebang Sikdang in Koreatown (seafood is an appetizing focus)
Thirty cuisines from around the globe will be on the roster, with multi-course meals that give diners a sense of a restaurant’s best dishes and signature styles.
For participants near you, across the city, and somewhere between, peruse the Winter Dine LA site now, and start dreaming of the meals you’ll savor as the holidays conclude and 2026 begins.
