Members of the Rancho Santa Fe Rotary Club hosted a Christmas party Dec. 11 for 70 children and their families in support of Pro Kids. The festive event brought smiles and laughter to those who gathered.

Pro kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping at-risk youth develop character, confidence and resilience through mentorship and academic support, partnered with the Rotary Club to make the event possible, according to a news release.

The holiday party transformed the venue into a cheerful winter wonderland, complete with craft-making stations, cookie decorating, and plenty of music and laughter. The highlight of the afternoon was the arrival of Santa Claus, who delighted the children and made sure each child received a gift.

Rotary members and volunteers said the event reflects their ongoing commitment to supporting local youth and strengthening the community during the holiday season, the news release stated.
