The San Diego Police Department is on scene investigating a shooting involving a San Diego Sheriff’s deputy near the intersection between Evergreen Avenue and Seacoast Drive in Imperial Beach.
At this point, it is unknown what led to the shooting and if it is fatal.
In a post to X, the San Diego Sheriff’s Department shared that there is no current danger to the nearby community, and asks the public to avoid the area.
