Man fatally shoots suspected robber during attempted theft in Baldwin Hills – NBC Los Angeles

Authorities were investigating an attempted robbery turned shooting on Sunday in Baldwin Hills, the LAPD said.

Officers responded to a shooting call around 3:15 p.m. near S. La Brea and Colosiem Street.

At least three suspected robbers attempted to rob an armed man of his personal property. As a result, at least one of the suspected robbers was fatally shot, according to the LAPD.

The two other men fled on foot in an unknown direction.

It’s unclear if any arrests were made.
