He admitted to an enhancement of a particularly vulnerable victim.
The incident happened on Jan. 12, 2024, in a southwest Bakersfield neighborhood. Police responded to the 6100 block of Provincetown Avenue to find 14-year-old Jayden Jackson dead from a gunshot wound to the neck inside Wisniewski’s home.

The gun reportedly misfired, striking Jackson in the neck. Another boy, who was holding the gun, was shot in the hand and told investigators he believed the gun was not loaded. Wisniewski was charged with leaving a gun unsecured and child cruelty.
According to court documents, Wisniewski picked up six juveniles, including Jackson, and allowed them to drink alcohol before the shooting.
