OAKLAND — A 30-year-old Pittsburg man was shot multiple times Sunday morning in the Uptown district, authorities said.His condition was not immediately available.The shooting happened about 3:25 a.m. near the intersection of 18th Street and Telegraph Avenue.Police responding to a gunshot detection system alert found the man, who had been shot at least twice. He was taken to a hospital.Police were trying to determine a motive for the shooting and whether the man was shot by someone in a passing vehicle or by someone who confronted him on the street.Anyone with information about the shooting may call Oakland Police Department at 510-238-3426.There have been other shootings in the Uptown district over the years, including homicides.
