SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

Utility crews are working to restore power after a crash knocked down a power pole in Midtown Sacramento.

Sacramento police said a FedEx driver crashed in the area of 29th and P streets, hitting a power pole near Business 80.

The driver was taken to the hospital.

About 50 SMUD customers lost power. The utility said power restoration is estimated for 3 a.m.
