BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying one of at least two people accused of trying to break into a home in northwest Bakersfield.

Police said the attempted burglary happened on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, just after midnight.

According to police, the suspected burglars were interrupted by a neighbor and ran away before anything was taken.
