FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The 66th annual Hoover Holiday Invitational Tournament concluded Saturday, and the host Hoover Patriots took home the championship in back-to-back fashion.
Head coach Tezale Archie earned his 100th career win as the Patriots defeated the Roosevelt Rough Riders, 66-56.
Hoover senior guard Keon Hill (17 points) was named tournament MVP, and All-Tournament selection Pamir Olivier chipped in 13 points.
Roosevelt junior forward Cobi Posas led all scorers with 22 points; he was also selected to the All-Tournament team.
In the 3rd place game, McFarland beat Fresno High in OT, 83-77.
