While most water is expected to remain within channels, roads, bridges, and properties could face moderate impacts from mud or debris. Kern County Fire warns that floodwaters can rise quickly and advises against walking or driving through flooded areas due to extreme danger.

Zones 736, 737-A, and 738 are currently under advisory status. Residents are encouraged to “Know Your Zone” by visiting protect.genasys.com and signing up for notifications, especially in areas recently affected by wildfires, which are more susceptible to mudslides and debris flows.
Although Tehachapi and Frazier Park are not currently under advisory status, these mountain regions could experience excessive rainfall, impacting infrastructure and posing a flood hazard. Residents should stay informed about weather conditions and be prepared for sudden changes.
