Expect traffic delays on northbound Interstate 5 near Grapevine Road after a crash between a semi-truck and a white van.
According to the CHP’s website, there was an initial report of a semi-truck hitting a guardrail at 1:48 p.m. on northbound Interstate 5 at Grapevine Road.
The report said the semi-truck hit a pole and a van.
The van was seen facing the wrong direction.
The report said there was a passenger with a complaint of pain.
It is unknown if anyone else was hurt.
Traffic is impacted. Caltrans said northbound I-5 is closed. There are downed power lines and damage to several power poles. There is no estimated time on reopening.
This is the second time traffic has been impacted. Earlier this morning, the southbound lanes were impacted as a semi-truck was on fire.
