BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Parts of Kern County are experiencing high winds Tuesday afternoon. It comes as the National Weather Service issues a High Wind Warning and a Wind Advisory through Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service, strong winds are expected to develop Tuesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon.

A High Wind Warning and a Wind Advisory are being issued from Tuesday at 4 p.m. to Thursday at 4 p.m.

The High Wind Warning with south winds from 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 60 mph expected for:
