STANFORD, Calif.—Ting-Yu Chang shot a 2-over 73 on Friday to lead the San José State women’s golf team after the first round of the Stanford Intercollegiate presented by Dr. Condoleezza Rice at the Stanford Golf Course.

Chang finished the day tied for 48th in the individual standings. She started the day with a birdie on the par-5, 501-yard first hole and added another birdie on the par-5, 477-yard 12th hole. She made 12 pars during the round.
Moa Andersson shot a 3-over 74 and is tied for 54th . She made two birdies and 11 pars during her round
Lotte Schuhr and Regina Roldan shot a 4-over 75 and are tied for 66th. Roldan shot even par over her final 12 holes with one birdie, one bogey and 10 pars made, while Schuhr made two birdies on Friday.
Kleopatra Kozakiewicz is tied for 91st at 8-over 79.
The Spartans are 16th in the team standings at 13-over 297, one shot behind Texas in 15th place. Host Stanford leads the field at 13-under, 271.
