SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Thousands of people throughout San Diego County are currently without electricity, as several power outages have been confirmed by SDGE.

Here is a real-time map of the current power outages throughout the county.

Most of the outages in the county were reported between 11 a.m. and noon, with Poway affected as early as 9:31 a.m.

SDGE’s website states that forecasted wind and rain could cause unplanned outages and offers tips to help stay prepared.

Some communities currently affected by the outage include Ocean Beach, Lemon Grove, Mission Valley, National City, Chula Vista, Clairemont and Del Mar, along with several others.

Due to the heavy storm and rainfall in San Diego County, the National Weather Service has issued a flood watch from 4 a.m. Wednesday through 1 a.m. Thursday. A wind advisory is also in effect from 3 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve with gusts expected to reach 45 mph.

Currently, no timetable has been issued for when the power will be restored.
