FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) — Detectives are still investigating the murder of 33-year-old Cassandra Munoz, nearly two years after her death on Christmas Eve in 2023.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded around 5:30 a.m. on December 24, 2023, to a report of an injured person in the roadway near East Adams and South Highland avenues, east of Fowler.
Munoz was found dead, and investigators determined her injuries were consistent with a homicide.

No arrests have been made, and detectives are asking anyone who knew Munoz or may have last seen or spoken with her to come forward.
