There are a few lingering showers near Oroville Saturday morning, but those are tapering off. The thunderstorms, gusty winds, and heavy snow are over… for now. Areas of dense fog may develop this morning, giving way to partly cloudy skies this afternoon and near normal highs for the Valley in the mid 50s. Cooler temperatures are forecast for the higher elevations as well with highs only reaching the upper 40s in the Foothills and mid and upper 30s in the Sierra. Areas of dense fog may develop in the valley and foothills again tomorrow morning… the big question is will there be enough of a breeze to clear it out later in the day?With a ridge of high pressure in place again through the middle of the week, areas of fog will be a concern once again. Chances of rain return by the end of the week and next weekend.
