Person hospitalized with severe injuries following crash in Downtown Sacramento

(FOX40.COM) — One person was left with serious injuries after a crash in Downtown Sacramento, according to police.

SPD said officers saw a car that was speeding around 1 a.m. Sunday morning.

The car was later found to have been involved in a crash with another vehicle on 12th Street and I Street.

The driver of the speeding car was taken to the hospital with severe injuries and is in critical condition.

The people in the other vehicle were not injured.
