A man died and a woman was wounded in a shooting near Stockton Sunday evening, authorities said.
The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened near People’s Market on Country Club Road, near Franklin Avenue, just after 7:30 a.m.Â
The condition of the woman was not known. No suspect information was available.
The details surrounding the shooting are under investigation.Â
