Meghana and Bhavana were traveling with a group of friends on a sightseeing trip to the Alabama Hills area when accident took place.

In a tragic incident, two women from Telangana were killed in a road accident in US’s California.
The deceased were identified as 25-year-old Pulakhandam Meghana Rani from Garla in Mahbubabad district and 24-year-old Kadiyala Bhavana from Mulkanoor.
As per news reports, the accident took place on Sunday around 4 pm (local time). Meghana and Bhavana were traveling with a group of friends on a sightseeing trip to the Alabama Hills area. Eight friends were touring the region in two separate cars. While taking a curve, the car in which Meghana and Bhavana were traveling reportedly lost control, went off the road, and plunged into a valley.
Bhavna and Meghana had moved to the United States three years ago for higher studies. They recently completed their Master’s degrees and were looking for employment opportunities. Their friends said that they were ambitious and excited about the next phase of their lives.
Meghana’s father, Nageshwara Rao, runs a Mee-Seva centre in Garla, while Bhavana’s father serves as the Deputy Sarpanch of Mulkanoor village. The news of their passing has plunged their families into deep shock and mourning.
