BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — At least one person is dead after a crash northeast of Lamont early Monday morning.
The CHP’s website said on Monday, December 29, 2025, at around 6:40 a.m., there was a report of a crash between a semi-truck and a pickup truck on South Edison Road and Hermosa Road.
The website said there was heavy fog in the area.
The incident was updated to a fatality.
It is unknown who died or if anyone else was hurt.
