Free health screenings were offered Monday to residents in East San Jose.
The resource was part of Bay Area Community Health’s wellness event from a mobile clinic, which offered services like a flu shot, blood pressure screenings, and vision and dental checks.
“It’s perfect because we don’t have the time to set up appointments because of work,” resident Lena Valencia said. “So it’s perfect to have them here.”
