New Year’s Eve is a time for celebration, countdowns, and maybe a last-minute run for party supplies. But not every store will be open late on December 31, 2025.
If you’re wondering where to grab groceries, pick up champagne, or get a caffeine boost before the festivities begin, it’s helpful to know which locations in Los Angeles will be open and which will close early for the holiday.
However, unlike Christmas Day, most major U.S. and L.A.-area stores do open on New Year’s Eve, though with shortened hours, especially later in the day.
