BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Following a stolen property investigation from late November, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 57-year-old man at a Bakersfield motel on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025.
The department shared on social media that on November 27, the suspect allegedly burglarized a business in the 26800 block of Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus, stealing approximately $8,000 worth of property.
Detectives identified the man suspected of the crime, driving over 80 miles per hour in the Bakersfield area. The Crime Impact Unit (CIT) assisted in the investigation.
CIT detectives traveled to Bakersfield on Monday, Dec. 29, and found the suspect at a Bakersfield motel.
