BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Tino Ibach, a local Stevie Wonder impersonator, has been found competent to stand trial after being accused of inappropriately touching a 3-year-old girl in Bakersfield, according to the Kern County Superior Court website.
On June 30, 2025, Ibach allegedly grabbed a 3-year-old at a Stockdale Highway gas station before being confronted by the girl’s mother and store employees. In August, a doctor determined Ibach was incompetent to stand trial. Despite Ibach’s objections and undergoing another evaluation with a new doctor, the results remained unchanged.
Ibach was found competent on Nov. 25 and will face trial, starting with a hearing on Feb. 11, 2025, court records show.
