BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield police are searching for a suspect who they said broke into a car and stole handbags.
On Dec. 14, the suspect stole about 10 handbags after breaking into a car in the 900 block of 20th Street, police said. The alleged theft occurred at about 2:19 a.m.
The stolen handbags were valued at about $1,000.


The man, who fled on a bicycle, was described to be wearing a black hoodie with orange and white skeletons, dark pants and Converse Chuck Taylor shoes, police said.
He also had a black Jansport backpack and was riding a TREK bike.
