The Noon Year’s Eve celebrations took place at several local branches, where kids made crafts, danced counted down to noon and had a balloon drop, among other activities, to ring in 2026 — without staying up past their bedtimes.

At the Brewitt Neighborhood Library, for example, the celebration was disco-themed, and kids boogied all afternoon with the help of a dance lesson by a professional instructor.
