BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — As the countdown to the new year approaches, Hard Rock Casino Tejon hosted one of Kern County’s newest New Year’s Eve events.
The recently opened casino hosted guests to celebrate with live entertainment, games, and a vibrant atmosphere.

Chris Kelly, president of Hard Rock Casino Tejon, shared the excitement surrounding the event.
“We’re in the business of bringing people together. We’ve got Brett Michaels about to take the stage. We’re about to throw a huge party, and everyone is invited,” Kelly said.
The celebration included live music throughout the property, with performances in the marketplace, Plum Lounge, and café.
“We’ve got million-dollar jackpots ready to hit right behind me. We’ve got great food and beverages. We’re gonna light this place up,” Kelly added.
In honor of the New Year, the celebration will end with a fireworks display at midnight.
“We want folks to have a great time, and as you know, we’re gonna go up with a bang at midnight,” Kelly said.

With 1,300 team members ready to welcome the community, Kelly expressed pride in hosting the casino’s first New Year’s Eve celebration.
