LONG BEACH – A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his lower body Thursday after an accidental discharge of a firearm in Long Beach.
Officers were dispatched about 12:35 a.m. Thursday to the 1700 block of Sherman Place, just east of Cherry Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“Officers rendered aid until they were relieved by Long Beach Fire Department personnel who transported the man to a local hospital,” according to a police statement.
There was no other immediate information and the investigation was ongoing.
