Southern Californians saw and heard a B-2 bomber Thursday afternoon that made a delayed appearance for the Rose Bowl game.
Usually part of the parade and pre-game festivities in Pasadena, the flyover was delayed as a storm delivered rain to much of the region. The system produced the heaviest rain early Thursday before scattered showers developed.
Instead of its traditional flyovers, the B-2 made a spectacular appearance against the backdrop of a cloudy sky and Southern California’s mountains at the Rose Bowl to wrap up halftime before Alabama and Indian returned to the field.
