Wisconsin wants In-N-Out, California wants Culver’s, according to survey

(WLUK) — Do Wisconsin and California want to trade lunches?

According to a recent survey, In-N-Out burger is the brand people in Wisconsin would most like to see open in the state. For California, Culver’s is the top wish.

MarketBeat says it surveyed more than 3,000 people to come up with all 50 states’ wish lists.

Wisconsin is not alone in craving food from California-based In-N-Out Burger. It topped the list of more states than any other business. And while Wisconsin and Minnesota might disagree on the Packers and Vikings, they agree on wanting In-N-Out Burger.

The burger chain has been famously slow to expand, though its president and owner recently moved to Tennessee, where the company has established an eastern territory office.

California, on the other hand, says it would like a ButterBurger from America’s Dairyland to provide some variety. Just up the West Coast, Oregon also would like to see Wisconsin-based Culver’s open up shop. Culver’s currently has more than 800 locations in 25 states.
