The San Jose Sharks and forward Alexander Wennberg have agreed to a three-year extension with a $6-million average annual value.

In 41 games this season, the 31-year-old has registered seven goals and 26 points in his second season in San Jose.
In his 13-year career, Wennberg has recorded 108 goals and 396 points in 830 games.
The Sharks currently sit tied for fourth in the Pacific Division with a record of 20-18-3.
