Hello, I’m Marmalade! I’m a warm, golden kitty with a personality that’s equal parts zesty and smooth. Sometimes I’m playful and full of energy, adding a little extra flavor to your day. Other times, I’m happy to curl up and keep you company. I’m ready to bring comfort, fun and plenty of smiles to the right home. The most fun thing about Bentley is his perfect mix of curious explorer and total cuddle monster. One minute he’s methodically sniffing every leaf like he’s on an important investigation, and the next he’s convinced he’s a lap dog, melting into you for brushes, ear rubs and affection. His goofy noises, wiggly greetings and dramatic flops for more pets make spending time with him a joy. This scruffy, loving 5-year-old is looking for a home at East Bay SPCA Dublin! The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

Mascarpone is genuinely fascinated by the world and wants to learn everything you can teach! Incredibly dog-friendly and happy, she balances a “bouncy” energy with a surprisingly calm disposition. She’s still a puppy — complete with an adorable clumsy streak –and is looking for a home ready to help her train and be the best dog she can be. Come meet this model citizen in the making at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter by calling during open hours at 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.

Guava is a sweet, social, playful 5-month-old tabby with classic kitten energy and a big personality. She loves toys, food and interactive play, then happily curls up for lap cuddles or shoulder perches. Smart and curious, Guava already knows a leg pat means “jump up!” She’d thrive in a home ready to give her lots of attention and fun. To meet Guava, please contact LouAnne at 925-683-0357. Community Concern for Cats now holds weekend adoption events at Pet Food Express stores in Walnut Creek and Martinez along with our regular location at 1250-H Newell Ave. in Walnut Creek. Visit communityconcernforcats.org for more information.
