Arredondo was sentenced to 34 years and four months in prison.
Reynaga was sentenced to 17 years and eight months in prison.
Zendejas was sentenced to 32 years and four months in prison.
The case revealed that on Sept. 22, 2023, the trio forced their way into the dispensary, brandishing guns and demanding marijuana products and cash from employees.
The men also forced a female employee to make a fake emergency call to distract law enforcement, a tactic that failed as Bakersfield police quickly responded to the scene, said the DA. Officers found four guns hidden in the ceiling, including a stolen weapon from the security guard. The defendants were arrested after officers secured the release of all victims.
The jury confirmed special allegations that the defendants used firearms during the crimes.
