BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Bakersfield saw a strong turnout at the Kern County Museum, with preliminary numbers showing nearly $90,000 raised and over 261 participants.
The association emphasized that the walk isn’t over and urged the community to continue supporting their fundraising efforts. “With emerging treatments and breakthrough research, now is the time for hope and action,” the association stated.
