Two children who went missing weeks ago have been found.

Jaiden Anthony and Jordynn Jones, both 12, have been “located” after they disappeared in late September, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department (LASD) announced in an alert.

“Thank you to the public, the media, Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Jaiden and Jordynn Jones,” the LASD said.

The department did not share any additional information tied to how the two went missing, as well as how and where they were found.

The update came several days after the LASD shared an advisory on Wednesday, Oct. 15, asking for the public’s help in finding the two preteens, who were last seen on East Palmer Street in Compton, Cali., at approximately 3:55 p.m. local time on Sept. 24.

Jaiden was described as beng 4’05” tall and 80 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes, while Jordynn was described as 4’08” tall and 100 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.

It was unclear what clothing both kids were wearing when they went missing.

The family shared a photo of the two children with KTLA, showing the male and female siblings posing side by side as they made funny faces at the camera.

Their family issued a critical plea for help finding them earlier this week.

The LASD said Jaiden and Jordynn’s family did not mention any health issues that would contribute to their disappearance, per KTLA.

The two preteens weren’t the only lost children found by the LASD this week. The department announced on Thursday, Oct. 16, that they also located 11-year-old Ajalon Russell, who went missing in the Los Angeles area on Oct. 11.

Authorities said Russell, who is autistic, was last seen in a black tank top and blue shorts, and he may have wandered off to nearby gas stations.
