FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Saturday will be the 3-year anniversary of the murder of 31-year-old Brittany Monique Degrise, and detectives have still not made an arrest.
On the one-year anniversary, Brittany’s mother, Tracey Degrise, shared her story of no longer having her daughter and pleaded for the public’s help in finding Brittany’s killer.

On Jan. 10, 2023, at around 4:30 p.m., Fresno County Sheriff’s dispatchers took a call regarding a person found lying on the side of the road near a grape vineyard.
Deputies responded to the location on S. Orange Ave, midway between Manning and Dinuba Avenues in Fresno.
There, they located a woman, later identified as Brittany Degrise, who was determined to be dead.
Evidence showed her injuries to be consistent with a homicide.
Detectives discovered Degrise was estranged from her family and was living as a transient in Fresno.
According to detectives, Degrise was known to be around Tulare and First Streets in Fresno.
Detectives have since spoken with people who knew Brittany but have been unable to identify the person(s) responsible for her death.
