The Sacramento Kings (8-29) hit the road to take on the Golden State Warriors (20-18) Friday. Tip-off from Chase Center in San Francisco, California, is set for 10 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NBA odds around the Kings vs. Warriors odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.

Season series: Sacramento leads 1-0

Sacramento suffered a 100-98 loss against the Dallas Mavericks in its most recent outing Tuesday, covering as a 4.5-point home underdog as the Under (233.5) hit. The Kings have lost 6 in a row straight up (SU), failing to score more than 106 points during that span and being held under 100 points in 3 of those losses. During the losing streak, Sacramento has lost by an average of 20.8 points per game.

Golden State beat the Milwaukee Bucks 120-113 Wednesday while covering as a 6.5-point home favorite with the Over (228.5) cashing. Stephen Curry dropped 31 points with 7 assists and 6 boards to lead the Dubs to the win. The Warriors won both the rebounding and turnover battles to make up for being outscored by 10 in the paint against Milwaukee.

The Kings handed the Warriors a 121-116 loss on Nov. 5, covering as a 2.5-point home favorite while the Under (225.5) hit. With Curry out for Golden State, Sacramento scored 30 points off turnovers and had 6 players finish in double figures. The Warriors, on the other hand, saw 3 players account for 82 points.

Warriors 118, Kings 97

PASS.

The Warriors are the much better team and Stephen Curry seems to always go off against the Kings, so Golden State will have no problem covering here as -900 favorites. However, the Warriors are not worth the risk of betting as such heavy favorites, so pass and bet on the spread and/or Over/Under instead.

LEAN WARRIORS -14.5 (-110).

Sacramento is just 1-5 ATS in its last 6 games and 14-22-1 on the season. Golden State, on the other hand, is 3-1 ATS in its last 4 games against the Kings.

With how terribly the Kings have played on both sides of the ball as of late, the Warriors will likely turn this one into a blowout on the back of Stephen Curry’s shooting and Jimmy Butler III getting downhill and to the charity stripe.

This is a very slight lean because the Warriors are just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games and because the Dubs have covered as a double-digit favorite only 3 times this season.

BET UNDER 231.5 (-110).

Sacramento’s offense has been easily the worst in the NBA over the last 6 games, and with Golden State’s offense also being largely underwhelming, the Under is nearly a lock for this bet. Even with Golden State blowing the Kings out, don’t look for the Dubs to have this explosive scoring night. Instead, expect the blowout to come as a result of Golden State’s defense.
