A California neighborhood sports bar’s liquor license is under emergency suspension after an early Saturday morning shooting.Louisville Metro Alcoholic Beverage Control said it has issued an emergency suspension order for Double Deuce Sports Bar & Grill’s liquor license.The sports bar, located at 2529 West Broadway, experienced a double shooting at 2 a.m. on Saturday.LMPD reported that two women walked into the hospital with gunshot wounds, and investigators determined the shooting occurred at the bar.Because of the shooting, ABC issued an emergency suspension order, which prohibits Double Deuce Sports Bar & Grill from selling or serving alcohol until a review of the case is complete.“Louisville Metro ABC remains committed to taking swift action when safety is at risk,” said Louisville Metro spokesman Brandon Bowden. “Collaborating to address businesses and conditions that promote or enable crime as part of Mayor Greenberg’s Safe Louisville plan.”The shooting remains under investigation by LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit and the Louisville Metro Alcoholic Beverage Control.
