While studying at Parsons School of Design, Elisa discovers her love for food and restaurants. Returning to Paris, an internship at Balagan, a trendy Middle-Eastern restaurant, inspires her to help restaurants embrace technology for a seamless customer experience. She enrolls in the X-HEC Entrepreneur Master Program and digitizes menus for over 1,500 restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic.

When the project does not scale as hoped, Elisa moves back to New York City and founds Crème Caramelle, a bakery offering baked goods inspired by her grandmothers’ recipes and delivered to your house. From her tiny NYC kitchen, she and a friend bake challah, fruit tarts, and cakes, comfort food with a personal touch. A clever go-to-market strategy – delivering baked goods to influencers – catapults the business to success, with dozens of delivery requests, hundreds of followers, and thousands of DMs overnight. The cherry on the cake? An order for 1,500 madeleines from the Lycée Français de New York for a special event.

Eli Deli in San Francisco

Fast forward to 2024: Elisa follows her heart to the West Coast; her love for San Francisco and her husband. There, she launches Eli Deli, crafting buns, Montecaos (filled with almond and flavored with orange blossom water), and whole challah on demand. Her journey continues, blending tradition with innovation, one delicious bite at a time.
