The case against a 42-year-old man accused of sex crimes against a child and possession of child pornography has advanced to Oakland County Circuit Court for possible trial.
Robert Donald Warren faces three counts each of child sexually abusive activity-aggravated and possession of child sexually abusive material-aggravated. The case was bound over from 51st District Court in Waterford Township to the higher court on Jan. 13, at the conclusion of a preliminary exam.

Michigan State Police troopers, acting on a tip, arrested Warren in Waterford last September. His court file lists the date of offense as June 25, 2025.
Soon after Warren was taken into custody, MSP Lt. Mike Shaw told The Oakland Press that Warren had no permanent address and “stays at different locations.”
Arraignment in Oakland County Circuit Court is scheduled for Jan. 22 before Judge Martha Anderson.
