The Fresno State Bulldogs are back in the pool, getting ready for another season of water polo.

The Bulldogs are the preseason favorite to win the Golden Coast Conference championship.

They have won it four of the last five years, but lost last year, so they feel they have something to prove.

The competition starts this coming weekend at the Aquatics Center with the Polopalooza.

That’s seven teams and wall-to-wall water polo.

The Bulldogs are looking forward to the start of a new season with high expectations.

Six other schools will be at Fresno State to compete in the Polopalooza: The Cal Bears, Hawaii, Indiana Hoosiers, Michigan Wolverines, San Jose State Spartans, and UC Irvine Anteaters.

The competition starts Friday evening and continues until Sunday afternoon.
