Hopefully, the dark times are over, and we can just build on (this win).”Beckett Sennecke extended the lead with a hard-won goal to start the third period by pulling the loose puck from behind the net and snapping it with his backhand while falling to the ice in front of the crease.”We didn’t want to have that one to get to 10 games,” Sennecke said of the losing streak. “We’re super pumped to finally get back into that win column and, hopefully, go on a little bit of a heater here.”Jacob Trouba sealed the victory with an empty net goal in the final seconds of the game, highlighting a disciplined and organized performance from Anaheim.Roope Hintz, forward and alternate captain for the Dallas Stars, pulled the deficit to 2-1 towards the end of the third period after Dallas pulled goalie Casey DeSmith for the additional skater, but the rally by the Stars came too little, too late. DeSmith made 22 saves for the Stars, who were missing top defenseman Miro Heiskanen because of personal reasons.”We had a hard, hard game last night,” Dallas coach Glen Gulutzan said. “Tonight, they were desperate. You could see that it was going to be a hard game.
