(FOX40.COM) — New Sacramento-related allegations in the sexual abuse case of actor and director Timothy Busfield have emerged following his arrest in New Mexico on Tuesday.

Court Documents reveal that Busfield is accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl several years ago in Sacramento. The documents said that on Jan. 13, a father reported to authorities that Busfield kissed his daughter and “put his hands down her pants, touching her private areas,” during an audition for the defendant at B Street Theatre, which was co-founded by Busfield.

According to the documents, Busfield begged the family not to tell law enforcement if he received therapy. The father, a therapist, believed it was “the best thing to do” at the time.

Two children he worked with while directing “The Cleaning Lady,” in Albuquerque, New Mexico, also allege sexual misconduct.

The first child, currently 11-years-old, disclosed that Busfield allegedly touched their private areas repeatedly, over clothing, while they were alone.

The child also reported that the defendant would enter the room after calling “cut,” grab them by the waist and touch their private areas.

The twin sibling of the first child also reported that they experienced unwanted touching from the defendant and corroborated patterns of inappropriate physical contact, court documents said.

According to court documents, Busfield has a documented pattern of sexual misconduct, abuse of authority and grooming behavior.

Aside from the New Mexico and Sacramento allegations, the defendant has also faced accusations of sexual assault in 1994 and 2012.
