SWAT team response at Bell residence – NBC Los Angeles

A large police response shut down a Bell neighborhood Wednesday.

Law enforcement was responding to what the Bell Police Department referred to as a “critical incident” along Orchard Avenue north of Gage Avenue.

NewsChopper4 was over the scene that showed a SWAT BearCat tactical vehicle assisting police. At least one person was detained by officers.

Ernest Debs Park and Camp Little Bear were both closed due to the police response, according to the City of Bell.
