(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing in Sacramento on Wednesday night.
Sacramento police reported that just after 7 p.m., officers responded to reports of someone who was stabbed on the 1000 block of I Street. When crews arrived, they found a man who sustained one stab wound.

SPD said the man was transported to a local hospital to be treated non-life-threatining injuries.
At around 9:55 p.m., Sacramento police stated that the suspect has been detained and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges related to the incident.
At this time, crews are at the scene working to learn more.
