BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — CHP Bakersfield said a dog was safely returned home after his owner was allegedly driving impaired, with a blood alcohol content twice the legal limit.
CHP Bakersfield posted the dog, Charlie, on their social media.
The post said that Charlie was inside a vehicle while his owner was driving impaired, with a blood alcohol content twice the legal limit.
“Thankfully, Charlie was safely returned to his owner’s home and was not injured,” said in the post.
CHP Bakersfield is reminding everyone that driving under the influence puts everyone at risk, drivers, passengers, other motorists, and pets.
CHP reminds the public to always plan ahead and designate a sober driver.
