The Rock Church to host free food outreach event Saturday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Rock Church is inviting community members in need to attend its monthly food outreach event on Saturday.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 17 at The Rock Church at 1400 Norris Road in Bakersfield, according to organizers.

Anyone in need who attends the event can receive free food and other resources, organizers said. Resources are first come, first served.

The event usually takes place on the third Saturday of each month.
