BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — CALM is inviting the community to join its third annual “Roses or Roaches” Valentine’s Day fundraiser.
For $5, participants can dedicate a rose to someone they adore or send a roach to someone deserving of a humorous Valentine’s Day “revenge.”
Dedications will be shared with CALM’s animal residents, who will receive either a rose or a roach based on their diet.
The event supports CALM’s Animal Enrichment Fund, providing stimulating treats and experiences for the animals’ well-being.
